Small Group Fellowship meets at 6:00pm on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month at different homes
in the Palm Harbor area.

Worship Ministry

The worship team is the part of the community of Grace Community Church that strives to promote vital worship within
the community. The worship community consists of varied groups or teams. Each group has certain responsibilities that
must be skillfully executed each week in order to maintain excellence in the worship of God. The groups that form the
Worship Team consists of the vocalists, audio/tech personnel, musicians, and speakers.

The purpose of the worship team is to encourage and assist in the dialogue between God and His people. Therefore,
the worship team must first prepare themselves for this conversation with God before they can assist in leading others
in such a conversation. We believe that worship is not governed by the style of music played, or the type of building
where the worship service takes place, but by the instructions set forth in God's Word. Therefore, the format of our
service in moderately formal - we regularly include a call to worship, songs, prayer of confession and assurance of
forgiveness, prayers for the congregation, and benedictions.

The music we chose is a blend of contemporary and traditional hymns and songs. We believe that music is to be an
expression of praise and a preparation of the heart to receive God's grace.

Because our worship is based on and reflects God's mercy, it is directed both towards the individual believer and the
community of believers. The worship team is one such community that celebrates the glory of God through weekly
devotional and prayer during rehearsal. It is a group of believers who seek to find their greatest joy in worshiping God
as Jesus instructed us in John 4:23-24.

Roundtable Discussions

Round Table Discussions take place on the Sunday nights when small groups do not meet - the 2nd, 4th and 5th
Sundays of the month. The purpose of the Round Table Discussion is twofold.

1) It is an opportunity to ask questions that may have arisen from discussions in the workplace, homes, Sunday
School, Sermon or any where else.

2) It is an opportunity to discuss a variety of topics that are of interest to those in attendance. Previous topics
have included - the theology of preaching, keeping the Sabbath holy, how do we know the Bible is true, and
church government.

Future topics to include, women's roles, inspiration of Scripture, and post modernism.

Audio and Video Ministry

We are always looking for those who want to assist in worship. For those who don't have musical gifts but still wish
to serve in worship, AV may be the place. This team is responsible for preparing the equipment for Wednesday night
rehearsal and Sunday Worship. They also prepare the slideshow,record the sermon, and update the website.
